Install Help

G'day All,

Firstly, My apologies, if this has been listed else where.

I am using SMF Version 1.1.2 and also the theme Ig-Oh (for 1.1).

I have ABSOLUTELY No Idea about coding, PHP, stuff to do with these Forums.  If it was not for the webinstall.php file of SMF, I would still be using 1.0.8!!!

Is there any step by step instructions for installing the SMF Ads??  Also is there a package compatible for 1.1.2 as yet???

Again, sorry if this has been asked elsewhere.  I am hopeing that there is step by step instructions somewhere.

SMF Ads only works on default theme and one other theme he has it coded for.

You install it using the package manager after you have downloaded the mod file.

Does any one know if you can get them working in another theme??  I am now using the Satellite Theme.....

Please how do I now get to add ads on my forum as is done here.

The Ads Mod isn't working for me because I am using the same theme this
forum runs on, Sub Silver.

I will like to replicate the system used here, when I used the Ad Mod Installer
I was told the theme I am using is not compatible.

Please HELP!

Go to www.simplemachines.org and then go to the Download section, then click on Mods on the left. On that page are instructions for installing mods. You need to read how to manually install a mod. You enter the code manually.
