Hi,

I have installed this successfuly on Ig-Oh112.

What I would like to know is at the top of the SMF page, Even if I have multiple ads for that location, only 1 banner shows up. I want 2 ads side by side static.

What do I need to change in the Bard Index Template to achieve this?

bigguy

Put both ads in the same ad slot and seperate them with a <p> or a <br /> That should do it.

Ok, but in the board index template, there is a function to call the banner. How can I modify that code to say:

If more then 1 banner for this location exist, show them side by side.

bigguy

You would probably have to put the ads in a table to get them side by side.

I too want to place multiple ads side by side horizontally. So far after experimenting the only result I could get is multiple ads on top of each other.

How can I place them side by side horizontally?

jerm

just put the both in the same ad box. don't use <P> or <br>

I've tried that. Does that give you that result I was looking for? The ads still gets stacked on top on one another instead of side by side horizontally.

I was thinking about what bigguy said about tables. I went to try and create tables on frontpage, looked at the the html code and did some experimenting and I got this:

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse" width="100%">
  <tr>
    <td width="50%">Banner A link</td>
    <td width="50%">Banner B link</td>
    </tr>
</table>

Which seems to give the the result I was wanted. But it is a bother to type in so much extra coding myself. If only the mod can automatically place the ads side by side by putting the links in the same ad box. Maybe an improvement can be done on the next version? :)

bigguy

Maybe a new option to put them side by side.
