Ads won't show on custom skin

I dunno if it's a bug or anything, but ads won't show on my custom skin. They simply won't show at all. I have them set and their positions set, they just won't show in the page.
Could it be because the skin was modified? Mods tend to stop working after I manually edit some templates.

Look into the theme board. My mod only edits the default theme.

Well, is there a way to make it work with a custom skin?

Look in the Theme support board for the edits to do to the template files after you have it installed and working on the default.
