Tutorial for Newbies

Good evening,
I am newbie for the mode.
I have just installed the mod for SMF 2.0 RC3 but I have no idea how to make to appear banner under menu of my SMF.

Is there some Step by step tutorial where I can find how to add some advertisement banners and how to display them?
