Ad's Between Posts - Showing Up Between All Posts

So , iv installed and modified all my custom template files ,  got this mod sort of working , although it seems very buggy.

When I entered in a comma separated list of post numbers id like the ad's to appear between , my ad's dont show up.

Ie ,  For "Display Ad's Between Posts" ,  when I enter in nothing ,I get the ad's between all posts (fine) ..  When I enter in any combination of numbers -  4,5 1,2 etc ,   I get nothing.


What am I missing ?  All i want to do is post a few random ad's between posts ..
