Need help adding support in my themes...

I'm wanting to add support for the admod in my themes. I'm trying to figure out how to put them in my templates without having them fail if the mod is not installed. Any ideas? This is for 1.1.x btw. With most mods, I can do an isset to see if some $txt by the mod is set or not, but I don't see any for this mod.

Or, does the if (function_exists("show_functionName")) do the work for me?
