Is there any particular file that you suspect, or do I have to just go through them one by one?

General Support / Errors
January 28, 2007, 04:04:49 PM
Hey everyone. I just installed v2.3 on smf 1.1.1 w/TP. All installed smoothly, but so far I'm getting this error in my error log:

Undefined index: fixed_width
File: /*****/public_html/Themes/default/Login.template.php (eval?)
Line: 679

Anyone know what i can do to fix that? Thanks a lot.

I also just noticed - When I ad an add in Admin, it comes up double; In other words, I add an add called "ADD1" and I get two of them showing up in Admin. Only the ones set to show at the bottom of every page are actually being displayed twice.

Thanks Bigguy. And Thanks Jerm, I figured I'd have to put ad code in an actual template. Thanks for showing me where.

General Support / Ads above the "Info Center" ?

I know there's no option in "Ad Management", but how can you place ads above the "info center" instead of at the bottom of the page? Thanks.

Theme Support / Re: Certain ads not displaying ?

Bigguy- I looked and didn't find any Dilber MC files. There was a post (the 3rd I   believe) w/ "Reserved" in green and that's it. Maybe that's where they are? When I first installed the mod, I did the manual edits and remember having some kind of trouble w/them. I have various mods installed- should I just do manual edits?

DoA- Thanks for your help too. Sorry I haven't gotten those files up, I have just been busy lately and not online much. I'm using the default BoardIndex.template with my Dilber theme. When I switch to using smfdefault theme, the ads show up fine, but when I go back to Dilber, they disappear. Do you still want to look at my BoardIndex.template?

I'm glad you guys did this mod. It's most definitely one of the most useful/practical mods out there. I got the newsletter and can't wait to see what the next version has.

Theme Support / Certain ads not displaying ?
October 28, 2006, 10:58:13 PM
;D  Hey guys. I've got your ad mod installed on my Dilber MC (1.1RC2). I tried to enable ads on the thread index and at the top of every board. They only worked when using the default theme. I couldn't figure out exactly why this would be. But since I've installed the mod, I've done the edits to allow different board icons and am also using the default Boardindex.template. My ads on the top of the board index and bottom of all pages are still working fine. What can I do?  :paladin:  Thanks.

General Support / Two little problems.

Hey Jerm. Thanks for all the work and time you put into developing this mod. I'm really glad we have it. Bigguy referred me over to this board to see if you could help me with some problems I'm having.

-Google image ads won't show up on the bottom of my first (home) page.
The show up fine on the bottom of every other page, and Google text ads show up fine on the bottom of every page.
-I can't display ads in the "welcome user area".

I'm running 1.1RC2 with the Dilber MC theme. I did the edits that bigguy has listed under the Theme Support board, but I didn't finish completely bc it was giving me problems with my forum, but other than those two problems everything is running perfectly fine.  If you need or want, I can send you my templates. Thanks Jerm.

Thanks! That did it.  :)  And where should I post that question for Jerm? or should I pm him directly?
#14
Thanks bigguy. I'm not expecting you have the answer to every one of my questions, but I figured I'd ask. I'll ask Jerm about the no show ad on the bottom. I'll try a few things more too.  And sorry for all the dumb questions, but where exactly would I put that alignment code? Thanks for all your help.
