Modifications.english.php

I am missing the ad management in the admin section.
It displays an empte space instead of a link.

This is probably because of the modifications.english.php
I did as described in the manual instructions but with no change.

I checked the content of the modifications.english.php but there is only one line of text stating:

// Version: 1.1 RC3; Modifications
?>

Can someone tell me what should be in that file in order to get the admin to work?

Your followed the intruction exactly as posted, which is good! But this time you should not have done that

This was mentioned in the instructions:
In the same file FIND:

Code Select Expand

// Get all the messages...

And REPLACE with:

Code Select Expand

//Ad Counter
$adcounter =0;
// Get all the messages...
while ($message = $context['get_message']())
{
$adcounter++;

What you did was overwriting only the "// Get all the messages..." line with the new content
I made the same mistake and ended up with the same error! (maybe the instructions should be changed )

This is what the instruction should say:
In the same file FIND:

Code Select Expand

// Get all the messages...
while ($message = $context['get_message']())
{

And replace it with:

Code Select Expand

//Ad Counter
$adcounter =0;
// Get all the messages...
while ($message = $context['get_message']())
{
$adcounter++;
