Should I still attach the template
or would you say this is a new problem?

Modifying template files is a bad idea.

And the problem of Ad Management mod inoperability on a number of servers
is the old one.

Follow the Instruction on getting help.

Pay attention that if you are still installing
the _original Ad Management mod_ instead of PAY-ME mod
                              to utf8 forum
then the "Ad Management" option will not be displayed
                         under "Admin -> Configuration" menu

unless you will add

as a way of saying thanks for their help getting the forum off the ground.

neilwheel,
you still have not included the link to your forum into your profile.
Hence how will the readers of smfads.com forum will be able to see the ads
in the honour of a Helper ?
And how will the Helpers which are (or will be) banned from smfads.com forum
be able to help you ?

I am trying to install the Ad management mod manually
without the use of the package manager

Why have you refused from installing the mod by Package Manager ?

Oops. I see I made the same mistake as many others here.

It was not the only mistake.
Many others here also do not show the link to their forums
in their profiles.

General Support / Re: Install.php Standalone question?

Quote from: "url=http://www.smfads.com/forums/index.php?topic=1768.msg7089#msg7089]Lunny in ~Install.php Standalone question?~"]
Could there be a problem if i change to english?

Lunny,
If you are having a multilingual forum
then do not change your forum from english-utf8 to english.

In any case
you could just add the Ads.english-utf8.php into your original Ad Management mod .zip file
prior to next reinstallation.

well, i got similar problems, so i uninstalled the mod completely -
there are files that are made in the packages folder
although the install wasn't successfull,
so i deleted them as well. then tried to install it and it worked.

To avoid similar messing and somersaulting -
it is important to install the PAY-ME mod once
BEFORE and INSTEAD of original Ad Management mod installation.

to your dark fantasy theme forum instead of this forum..

try downloading and installing it again. it sometimes crushes.

adreamer,
what do you mean by "crushes" ? -

~corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF~ warning
or
incorrect results of installation procedure without any warnings
from Package Manager during original Ad Management mod installation ?

The package you are trying to download or install
is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

danman55,
Can you please check
what will the PAY-ME (AdManagement) mod warn you about
when you will go to install it
in your environment ?

It says move the included file "Ads.php" to ..
Where do you get Ads.php?

loosoo,
Have you installed already the original mod by Package Manager
according to the ideology of Simple Machines Forum development ?

Why have you began modifying the files manually ?

Quote the reason posts.

I tried this mod like 3/4 months ago
and couldn't get it to work.
I've decided to try it again
but I remember last time,
it half worked and i had to reinstall everything.
I can't risk that this time

It is a great risk for you to install the original Ad Management mod
        in your case.

Quote from: "url=http://www.smfads.com/forums/index.php?topic=1745.msg7021#msg7021]skillmenta in ~admod on blackrainv2 by crip~"]
I can't risk modding the live forum.
I just have no way of testing it again.

There is an opportunity for you
to test the installation on my test forum
and to convince in operability of the PAY-ME mod installation procedure
unlike Ad Management mod installation procedure.

Also crip's themes are known to have systematical errors.

Fulfill that separate step of the instruction:

    at once).
