I know the mod can plce ads just below the date (same theme as here) but I was wondering if its possible to place ads elsewhere in the login page. I'm thinking of the blank spaces on either side of the login box.

I guess it could yes by either hardcoding the ads code into the template file or adding code from teh ad mod to that file would work. Not sure were you would add it though. It's all trial and error. Backup that file before playing though. ;)
