Title: Target="_blank", new window does not work

Hi all,

Not sure if this is an SMF Ads issue or just an SMF issue. I'm creating simple text or graphic ads and using the target="_blank" to open links in a new window/tab, but it fails to work. I noticed the same issue with links in the globalhf package.

Is this something in the SMF coding itself that does not allow a new window to open from a link? If so I'll go post over there, but, if anyone has the same problem and has a fix, please share.

I don't think this is a problem with the ad mod. I use that all the time and it works fine in the ad mod.

bigguy,

As it turned out it was a javascript plugin I use on Firefox. Dumbo me forgot to give my own site permission to run javascript.

Sheepishly I retire in the dark recesses.
