I am looking into using the ad mod, but I can't find exactly what changes the mod makes to a standard forum. Does it change/add any tables and if so, is it easy to completely remove the mod and undo *all* changes?

Version 2 adds a table, so you can easily remove it.
Version 1.5 adds a few settings that isn't hard to remove.
The edits done to the themes can be found in the Theme board, all the other edits can be found in install.xml file, which is inside the zip file.
