Using this mod with dilber mc (using left tower, top and bottom spaces) and want to change the background color. How do I go about doing this?

Style it using CSS.

Add this attribute into said tag;

style="background-color: blue;"

Change "blue" to a color-name, or a hex value.

Kindly assist to change colour SMF 1.1.9. Please show me the step by step of changing the colour because am not verse in php coding. Thank you

This is not a matter of php coding but of CSS. You modify the style sheet(s)

Your SMF directory --> Themes --> default (or whatever theme used) --> style.css
