Title: Double entries ?
Post by: dede on August 24, 2007, 11:50:20 AM
SMF 1.1.3
SMFads 2.3
SMF default theme
Google Adsense

Problem is that when I install google ads as either a 120x600 or a 160x600 tower either right or left, it produces two columns of ads side by side in the appropriate place but with different ads in them and two exactly similar entries under Ad Management Edit Ads. If I delete either of these entries, both disappear and the ads go with them.  I've tried this with horizontal ads and get the same results.

If I try one vertical and one horizontal ad, I still get two entries for each advert in the edit panel, with two vertical and one horizontal ad on the page. If I then remove the vertical ads, I then end up with two horizontal ads instead of one.

I have checked and have only one istallation plus I have checked the files for duplicates - no apparent problems.

Makes no sense to me!

Hi ,
I have almost same problem. Once I have installed the mod and activate Google Ads, there was a double entry. I uninstall it and reinstall to set it up again. Shockingly I saw these ads thrice. So there are three ads display after adding one add. Is there any solution for this?

I read in another post to check to see if the mod or any of the files were duplicated which was the reason I added the info that I'd already followed this route and found nothing.  I wonder if you checked this out? I'd be interested to know if you have two installations logged as I haven't.
