Print Page - cannot install any packages

Well I m unable to install any packages ,it gives me errors

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

even though I had permitted " All files are writable".

any solutions ???????

Log in to your ftp client and chmodd the whole package directory to 777. Then create a folder inside ''Packages'',name it ''temp'' or ''tmp'',without the qoutes and chmodd that to 777 as well
