I just installed SMF today and I want to install mods. First mod I downloaded is the Ads mod. Can anybody help me with the following?

1. To what folder should I upload the the Ad mod or other mods file?
2. How to install the mods?

Also, I'd be very glad f you can help me what file to modify so I can add the Google Analytics code.

You can upload the mods (after unzipping) to your package folder. You will see an option for applying the mod when you log on to admin under 'main' panel - 'package'

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

What version of Ad mod is compatible with SMF 1.1.3?

You should really take this to www.simplemachines.org but if you are getting this message are you sure you downloaded the right version.
