Is it possible to show ads after last post. When having multiple pages, it shows ads after the last post of the page. And with the latest page ads would be shown likewise. Except for topics that don't have any replies, it wouldn't show the last post ad if you are displaying ads after the first post.

At the moment I have 25 posts per page, and using "Display ads within posts" option with 1 and 25. Now it shows ads after the first and last post of the page. But when having under 25 replies in a topic, it only shows ads after the first post and I think I'm loosing lots of clicks because when users have finished reading an topic they are more willing to click ads.

There is no function that lets me know that its the last post (to show the ad before the last post)
So the only way would be to add a feature that displays the ad after the last post. Is that what you want?

Well that sounds very good  Wink Wink  In nearly all other forum-softwares like vbulletin this is possible since a longe time...

At the moment I manage it like "whyhavetoregister" do, but a function which displays an Ad automatic after the last replie in a topic (no matter how much replies) would be very great!!! This is one of the importanst things im missing in your very very good Mod.

One more request about the subject. Is it possible to display ads after the last post instead of ads after the first post if there are no replies. That would help with AdSense channels.

It's about these ad placements: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=50678

I have made an ad placement for ads after the last post. Now if someone decides to put an ad to that placement it will not be shown if there are no replies because I have also ads after the first post and it overrides the after last post ad.

I know because I suggested it. But when I have set two different ads, first after first post and second after last post. Now when there are no replies or first post on a new page it should imo display the after last post ad instead of after first post ad.

After first post overrides the after last post ad and I'd like it other way round so last post wins first post.

Hard to explain...

I understand, but i feel this would be to difficult to implement. You see, if you set it to display after the first post, then when it goes through the loop, it will display the ad. I have no way of knowning if there are any more posts coming along. I could check, but i think that will make the next post disappear (because checking to smf, is like printing). So now, since theres only one post, i believe the last post option doesn't display. I dont think theres any way around this.
