left Border with skyscraper ads

Hi,
where can I set the left border before the skyscraper ad comes...

Normally there is at least 20 to 30 pixels at the very left of the browser, before the left
skyscraper ad is displayed.

This takes up a lot of space, especially, if people only use a 640x480 or 800x600
screen size.

I would prefer the ad be at the very left side without any border....

Where can I change this ?
