How to add Google addsense code in different places

I am having a small forum Powered by SMF 1.1 RC3 | SMF © 2001-2006, Lewis Media. The link is http://www.gurunano.com/

I need some help concerning Google addsense

1. I would like to add Goolgle addsense on the top right side and also below user info bar. How to do that.

2. I tried the following but didn't work
After log in as Admit I have added the following script on the blank space of:
"HTML code to be displayed at the top right" under "Current Theme" option

Before pasting I have made it as 1 single line.


But it didn't work and also showing errors in Internet Explorer.

Please guide me how to do that.
