Ads and Theme Mod Question - I "think" I understand

OK I'm new to this so I wanted to ask before I mess up my forum.  I have installed the mod and it runs fine on my default theme.  However, I am using the Brown and Tan Theme on my site and users can use the Extreme Yesil or default if they want to.  I am running version 1.1.8

My Brown and Tan Theme only has the index.template.php file (and the Extreme Yesil only has Boardindex.templeta.php and index.template.php) of the 4 that I think I need to mod.

messageindex.template.php
display.template.php
Boardindex.templeta.php
index.template.php

If I understand what i am reading, I only need to mod the files that exist in the theme folder (Brown and Tan = mod to index.template.php  and Extreme Yesil = mod to Boardindex.templeta.php and index.template.php) because it will use missing files from the default template (which is working)?

OK, I got it to work on the Brown and Tan Theme    However, the Extreme Yesil index.template.php does not have any of the lines that the mod description says to look for. 

Can anyone help me on this?  I would drop that theme but I have several users who perfer it.
