Intresting Issue
« on: February 18, 2009, 08:23:26 pm »
Im Zagrom, Admin of http://otaku-unlimited.comze.com/

The problem Im having is, when you enter a thread
the ads at the bottom and some of the bottom selection
tools move to the top, displacing my banner and such,
Its not a BIG issue, but is a bit annoying,

I pretty sure as to the whereabouts of the problem
but am unsure how to fix it, Its in the Display.template.php
at the very bottom of the code, the code Im using looks
like this,
Code: [Select]
if ($context['show_spellchecking'])
echo '
<form action="', $scripturl, '?action=spellcheck" method="post" accept-charset="', $context['character_set'], '" name="spell_form" id="spell_form" target="spellWindow"><input type="hidden" name="spellstring" value="" /></form>';

?>

and should be looking something like this;
Code: [Select]
if ($context['show_spellchecking'])
echo '
<form action="', $scripturl, '?action=spellcheck" method="post" accept-charset="', $context['character_set'], '" name="spell_form" id="spell_form" target="spellWindow"><input type="hidden" name="spellstring" value="" /></form>';
}

?>

If I have the "}" I get this error:

Quote
Template Parse Error!
There was a problem loading the /Themes/Metro/Display.template.php template or language file. Please check the syntax and try again - remember, single quotes (') often have to be escaped with a slash (\). To see more specific error information from PHP, try accessing the file directly.

You may want to try to refresh this page or use the default theme.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in .../Themes/Metro/Display.template.php on line 863

If you need any other information just ask,
Any help is nice, and thanks for your time ^^

Oh ya, and my theme is Metropolis
I changed all the colors and gfx tho

Ok, now on closer inspection Im also having the (seemingly common) problem
that the ads are only showing up for the Administrators only, as well
