Just upgraded from 1.1.5 to beta 3.1

Hi,  The upgrade went nice and smooth but when I downloaded ad_mod_v2-3-3_SMF_vbeta3Public and tried to use it thats when my problems started.

I set everything on the server to 777 to be sure and even added a temp directory to the package folder but still get the parse errors.  Can anyone help or would it be better downgrading back to 1.1.5 ?
