If you browse forum  without login than there is no ad on top and after the main menu. If you login ads are showing fine. It was all perfect a week ago. Now all of sudden I dont know why we Guest(without login) can't view ads. Please help.

I've got the same problem.

...but solution is easy. You should grant permission to show ads to Guest.

Additionally the User Group Permissions should be adjusted
to make the Ads visible for corresponding groups:
Admin -> Permissions by Membergroup ->
(for example)
Guests          -> Modify -> Enable Ads [V] .
Regular Members -> Modify -> Enable Ads [V] .

For my case is only the admin able to see the ads. other members nope. I try looking at the permission by group to find the Enable Ads. But I cant find it in any of the member groups. What's wrong?

bloodfire

found the problem which lies in the managePermission.php in the source dir. Some how the modification did not work properly as it is supposed to add before the
'pm' => array(
but instead it added after it making it part of the pm array. so check the file and modify manually.

I also encountered same challenge with my forum. Meanwhile i tried to change guest and regular members permission to view ads individual, the response i got was 'you can only select one action to modefy this permission'. I need members assistance in this regard so as to enable guests and members see ads on my forum. Cheers.

I found:

Enable Ads

it was a checkbox hidden under:

Administrative tasks
at the bottom of this tab

in "permissions"
