Rotating Ads...I can't use ad management at all..

I want to use adsense and also banner ads. Rotating banner ads.

I've installed the ad management mod, tried it out..and nothing..just doesnt do anything.
I see it gives you a choice of html and php...how you supposed to put adsense in that anyway?
