Hey
I have this problem. I installed ad management (finally, it took me a while ;D )
But I installed it and put on the checkbox: Display in Welcome user area.

But now the ad keeps repeating itself. so there are like 4 same ads next to eachother :-\

Probably means that there are multiple code snippits in the theme files. Check the theme board to make sure your file is set properly.

Hyper

Yeah, thx, that was the problem. There were 4 of the same codes under eachother xD

As a total newbie to coding can someone give a step by step guide to where to go and look for the duplicate codes as I've got everything showing twice. And yes I went to the Themes board but couldn't make head nor tail of where to look for the duplicate code. It's probably me being thick but a step by step would be helpful.
I'm using SMF 1.1.4 with the following mods installed

   Mod Name                                                 Version
1.    TinyPortal                                                  0.983
2.    SMF 1.0.12 / 1.1.4 / 2.0 b1.1 Update    1.0
3.    SMF Gallery Lite                                        1.8
4.    Trim URL                                                   1.0.2
5.    Ultimate Profile                                          0.7
6.    Custom Profile Field Mod                             3.16
7.    Ad Management                                              2.3

When I open Ad Management and add an ad it then appears in the list of ads twice and shows twice on the Forum no matter where I place it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this mod is an excellent tool.

All the duplicate code will be located in the template files like:

index.template
BoardIndex.template
MessageIndex.template
Display.template

The Ads mod you installed will have an .xml file. Look in there to see what files have been changed. Open the changed files, make sure you back them up first and search for the code in them. Be careful you don't remove any code from the changed files which wasn't added.  ;)
