please help me with this i'm trying to install the ad mod and it comes up with this:
Some of the files the package manager needs to modify are not writable. This needs to be changed by logging into FTP and using it to chmod or create the files and folders. Your FTP information may be temporarily cached for proper operation of the package manager.
This means that you must input ftp information so that SMF can change permissions of the files it is trying to alter when installing. If you don't do this, you'll be forced to install by hand which isn't much fun at all.
I require sftp, so what do I do when I have this problem?
which files do I need to check have write permission?
