i just installed the latest SMF 1.1 RC2 and the latest package of Ad Management Mod. It uploads to SMF ok but when i try to install, i get the following error:

Fatal error: packageinstall(): Failed opening required '/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/joesdomain.ca/httpdocs/Packages/temp/./install.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/psa/apache/lib/php') in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/joesdomain.ca/httpdocs/Sources/Packages.php on line 534

Any ideas?

create a folder inside your package folder named temp, and chomd it to 777

thanks. adding the "temp" dir and chmodding it to 777 got it installed. the only thing missing is in Admin. Under Configuration, there is no Ad Management.

what version of the ad mod did you install?

its version 2 that was listed at the bottom of the list

ad_mod_rc2_v2.zip (15KB)

anything in the error log?
try uninstall and re-installing

I have the problem too.
I don´t completed the intall mod.
