Ok, thanks for your help!
Even i need these files! Bit urgent!
Bump!
Hi,
i´ve updatet my files in the template folder, but no ad appears. Look: www.fusiontips.de
What can I do to see my ads?
Kind regards
same problem here.
What do i have to edit? These are my files that need edit: http://rapidshare.com/files/15191662/SlickPro.rar
And this is my site:
www.maxbastards.gr
im using this mod for global header+footer ads:
http://www.smfhacks.com/hacks/Global-Headers-and-Footers.html
try these 3
And this one. REMEMBER to backup first BEFORE trying these. Sorry for the wait guys. It should be right now.
thanks its working, but 2 things are problems.
1st if i choose this option "Display ads on every page right below the menu" then guests, see the add at the top of the page, not inside the box.
and 2nd i have lost "Users Online Today" list.
Edit: i have fix 2nd problem by adding this code:
http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,263.0.html
Like I said. It is hard to get the code to work with all themes. Every author codes there templates different.

I inserted the last 4 Templates, but no ads appears in html mode.
[edit]
In php mode this error appears:
Quote
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /var/www/meria11/html/Sources/Load.php(1724) : eval()'d code(257) : eval()'d code on line 1
What the hell is that?
[edit2]
These errors are only if I set my ad to php.
And it´s regardeless of which codeßm using (i tried it with a simple "hello").
Everything is working great.
however.
:)
I must be running two different versions of SMFads because ads appear different.
The older version shows ads in between posts cleanly, wereas the newer version shows them like a actual post, with me as the poster.
Do I simply need to uninstall the newer version, and install the older version?
and, better yet, can I simply swap out a file so I can keep some of the new option in the CP?
what file would I need to swap?
Ok.. so Its an option.
whoda thunk it.
next problem.. it appears only admins can see the ads.
I search for that problem before asking about it...:)
Well.. that didnt take long.

Figured it out for anyone else wondering.
Goto Admin panel. Under MEMBERS click PERMISSIONS. To enable all users and guests simply tick all the boxes, then from the popup menus select ADD PERMISSION and ENABLE ADS and click the SET PERMISSIONS button.
