I'm currently running SMF 1.1 (gold) and the Helios Theme that has been modified by Bloc to work with this ever popular Ad Mod (love it!). Everything is working and looking great.
Now I want to add TP 0.9.7 to the mix using the Helios theme and of course still maintain the use of the Ad mod. I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about this and what I need.
I'm assuming that I need to revert back to the default SMF template, run the install for TP and then reinstall the Helios theme.
I guess the questioan is, I need to reinstall the Helios theme that has been modified for use with TP. Will it also then work with the Ad Mod or do I need someone to do some tweaks for me to make everything come together?
So I now have TP 0.9.7 and the Helios Theme installed and working. What do I need to do to get the Ad Mod working?
install it to the default theme and then do the edits manually to the template files you have in that theme folder. I personally try renaming the template files first. If the site still looks like it should and the ads work then there should be no problem. If renaming the template files throws off teh theme then rename to the original names and edit them manually.
