I need a way of limiting how many times a user can post in a certain board per day (or maybe however long I specify)

This is to stop people visiting, replying to all the topics at once, getting the download links then never returning.

So for example, I have 6 boards, and I don't want to allow a user to post more than 3 times in each board - per day.

Is this possible? Is there a mod for this already?

Any help would be great.

posted but no-ones responded - that mean its still in progress - these "spam" users are doing my head in!

not much i can do. i don't have any time on my hands to code another mod. just keep bumping the post every few days i guess. someone will get annoyed and code it maybe? lol
