Title: AD MANAGEMENT issue in smf 1.1.7 (Urgent help require).
Post by: Raji on November 21, 2008, 10:25:58 PM
Hi there,

I was working with 1.1.6 smf version and DILBER MC theme and everything was okay before 12 days.

After upgrading I lost notification of NEW MEMBER'S REGISTERATION.

Then after I had to face some troubles from webserver then I have moved my domain from old account to new account.

I have done fresh installion of  SMF version 1.1.7.
Imported database, overwrited theme, packages, smiles, avatar,  attachments.
www.baask.com/diwan

Now problem is that everything is on its position and working okay but

AD MANAGEMENT is not working
Shout Box is not showing its input text box.
SMF Blog is not working.

I have deleted all modules then reinstalled step by step all modules then found that Version 1.1.7 is not compatable with above mentioned modules.

after successfull installation of "AD MANAGEMENT" its not listed in admin panel.

Second I am continue facing "Session verification failed." error when I try to logout then login to my admin account.

Please help me out to reslove this issue.

Thanks in advance for your prompt response.

Looks like you've done a lot of editing here.

Can you send me admin/ftp details so I can take a look?

My orignal site is
http://baask.com/diwan/index.php

When I click on tumbnails of Banner Images I am getting following error:

QuoteNot Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /diwan/index.php could not be found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.0.63 Server at baask.com Port 80

But I have installed 1.1.7 smf through fantastico within another testing folder
http://baask.com/diwwan/index.php

The status of above mentioned modes are still same so I have uninstalled Ultimate Shout box and installed 1.1.7 compatible shout box. Uninstalled SMFBLOG and installed SMF COMMUNITY BLOG but I dont know about the alternates of Photo gallery and AD management.

I have created an Admin account for you.

Bad idea to share admin/ftp account information in public as anyone could potentially hack into your forum.

Can you send them to me through the message system?

Yes you are right.
Well  I shared information of testing forum so I did not mind to share it in public forum.
Well now problem is resolved. The first cause was security issue from server and second issue was Language selection in Server Configuration.

Now I wish to ask some more questions. I hope you will guide me.
I have added three ADs: One on TOP OF MB second on TOP of MESSAGE INDEX and third one "above the post"

If I use default theme all three ADs are visible but as I change my theme only one theme is visible. Can you assist me how to resolve this issue?

Second thing is that if I add more then one ADs on same location its showing only last one AD while I want to display all three ADs one by one.

I'll pm you admin ID and password

Thanks in advance for your support
