Title: Theme give error when installing in SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1
Post by: jb3398 on July 15, 2008, 03:07:43 PM
I ran my AD Mod but it was only visible to me as an Administrator. Regular members could not view my AD Mod. I looked in Permissions under the Admin tab for members and there was nothing to modify. I then checked, the AD Mod itself under options and there was nothing to modify to allow Regular members to view ad mods

I am using the default theme, it works only under Administrator. I created a user account and could not see the mod. I uninstalled and deleted mod. Download a new one and reinstalled, same problem, however even thought the mod sayss if offers support for 2.0 beta 3.1 i got errors during install but installed anyway.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

jb3398,
In case of error warnings
it was better to request help first.
You have not installed the mod.
Even worse - you installed the mod partially.
In result it will require the manual intervention
to clean the files.

The original warnings were probably displayed
because of the conflict with other mods installed earlier.

how do you set permissions so every member can see the ads.

Additionally an administrator should adjust the User Group Permissions
to make the Ads visible for corresponding groups:
Admin -> Permissions by Membergroup ->
(for example)
Guests          -> Modify -> Enable Ads [V] .
Regular Members -> Modify -> Enable Ads [V] .
