Hello, I just downloaded a smf forum board. It is the default one. I asked about placing adsense on the forum.
I have:
Forum version: SMF 1.1.3
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1.3
After a while i finally downloaded the ad management into my packages part of the admin panel... it looks like this:
Mod Name Version
1. Ad Managment 2.3 [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
Installed mods: current version older version
I was told it is supposed to be an "Ad Management" line in my Admin Panel...but there is no Ad management there.?? I am trying to find out how and where to put the adsense code on the forum. thank you.......
Your forum is probably set to English-Utf8 you need to change this to English in Admin > Server Settings > Core Configuration

I have the same issue
New installation of SMF v 1.1.3 with Ad Management as v2.3
Theme is Default theme - Core (looks like the same one this board is using)
User selection of Themes is turned off.
I've checked the server settings for language, but
ALL of my languages are UTF-8
There are
NO non-UTF8 languages in the list - this is not something I chose, it is how it was installed by Fantastico Deluxe from cPanel
Server is Apache
PHP is 4.4.7
MySQL is 4.1.22
What can I do now?
(I don't want to waste shedloads of time on this)
